| What's new ? Weddings seem to happen more than ever, I feel I need to re-charge for every wedding as every wedding is different, therefor I look for different ideas all the time.Portraits are high in demand as lots of people want something different rather than the sort of traditional photographs.Black and white is becoming more and more popular, the sort of documentary-style in weddings is also the way people seem to prefer. Our local school has done a fundraise for the children in Nepal, kids for kids, just fantastic! Big thank you to all of them and their wonderful teachers! Just back from another trip to Nepal, the photographs I took there will be used again for fundraising for Bright Horizon Children's Home, Kathmandu, Nepal(what an inspiring place) and Tibetan refugees, also by providing education for children. The school is up and running and the children were all in very high spirits!A wonderful experience.I again visited some Tibetan refugee settlements and it has made it clear to me that indeed the path to follow for me to keep creating awarenes about the situation in Tibet, as it is another place in the world that people forget about and where there is so much injustice happening. At the moment an exhibition of some of my latest work is on dispaly at Dalvenie Gardens, Banchory,Scotland. It involves faces of elderly people and it is very touching, all photographs are in black and white. It has been a great challenge for me to be able to achieve this and I thank all who were involved. Also great thanks to Dalvenie Gardens and The Forget me Not Club who sponsored the exhibition.
